Our week in Japan for MateRock went so fast, and was full-on times a bazillion. I didn’t get time to blog on the trip, because I was lazy and drunk a lot so I’m going to break it down over a few blogs, before I forget everything…
OK, so this is going to be the last installment of my Japan adventures

After Dad & my sets
We headed out with Mum to enjoy the rest of the acts
We found the birthday boy in fine form
Partying harder than anyone else there
With the exception of maybe Dave Gleeson
Dude knows how to par-tay!
He, without any trouble at all
Managed to lead Dad well and truly astray on the night
Once we all had our party (thanks to the shochu) on
We were ready and raring for Jimmy Barnes to come out

I’ve seen Jimmy a few times over the years
And without a doubt, he was at his finest that night
Singing better than ever
Which is saying something – ’cause Jimmy Barnes, IMHO, is one of the best singers in the world
And he’s getting better
Proud to say I knew every word, of every song
And screamed them out from side of stage
While Mum & Dad partied like rock stars in the mosh pit
Out-partied by my sextarian parents?

It was an incredible way to round off our whirlwind visit to Japan
I am already making plans to return
Diamond & the girls will be my traveling partners next time
They are going to LOVE Japan

PERFECT way to end a Tour! The people we meet abroad from home is always a cool thing! Haven’t seen Dave in a few years and he looks like he did at 20 – and still on the party train. Onya’ Dave. Jimmy just ROCKS! Very cool! P.S. Love what you’ve done to your T – JT! 😀
