On this day, four years ago

I was over 210 pounds / 95kg shitting myself

I was going into hospital to be induced to have our second baby

I was shitting myself because I was having flashbacks about the first time I gave birth

26 hours of fucking hell is really the only way to describe it. It was worth it – but man, was that shit rough

The drugs were awesome though, I have to say

So four years later, on September 6th, it’s time for round two when the hospital called to let me know that it was time for me to come in

And I burst into tears and had to be pried loose from my mum – who I think still has scars from my nails digging into her

Second time around I was almost too scared to push and in the end had a c-section

Again, awesome drugs

Diamond reckoned it was like seeing an animal get gutted,

Your guts and shit are all over the table man

No way

Oh yeah, and it’s a girl

And as crazy as it sounds, I would do it all again in a heartbeat

That’s the sound of Diamond running and locking himself in the spare room

Yesterday I said goodbye to Miss 3

And today I said hello to Miss 4
