We went downtown to see Million Dollar Quartet at the Apollo theatre
Seriously. Fucking. Awesome!
What a brilliant show
I read somewhere last week that it finishes it’s Chicago run in October and is then headed to Broadway
I can absolutely see why

In 1956 Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Pressley came together at Sun Record’s studio in Memphis. The man who made it happen was Sam Phillips, who discovered them all
The four legends-to-be united for the only time in their careers for an impromptu recording session that embodied the birth of rock ‘n’ roll and has come to be known as one of the greatest rock jam sessions of all time
The cast was so good
Not sure if they’ll be the ones to go with the show to Broadway when it leaves – but they should be
The guy who played the part of Jerry Lee Lewis was LEVI KREIS and he completely stole the show
I’d be happy to be half as talented as this dude
Loved him!
So yeah, it was a great night out
Not even dropping my red wine all over Diamond in the middle of the show and getting lost coming home could make it suck
