The tour is going great guns so far

I’ve done 9 shows and have 45 more to do

And if you think that’s a lot, think about Dad

He’s done 15 shows so far and has 58 to go

I swear that man is a machine

I mean, he just thrives out here on the road

And I’m the first to admit, it’s a good time out here

It can be tiring, but really, who’s job isn’t?

I know that for me, even if I ever have a bad day out here which is only once a month, and I think we know why, don’t we girls? is still better than the best day of me doing anything else

Diamond calls us all road dogs

He reckons there’s a certain breed of ‘dog’ that can live (& love) life on the road

I guess that’s the breed we are

Dad’s been touring since he left home at 16

And I’ve been touring since I was 15

We call it the ‘rhythm of the road’

It’s not for everybody

I have a lot of muso mates who would tell you that life on the road can be lonely

I’m lucky enough to do most of my touring with my Mum & Dad

So it’s never fucking boring that’s for sure lonely out here for us

But I’ve got to tell you

We know every day how lucky we are that this is our job

All the fun, friendly and always interesting people we get to meet

Different places to go

And then get out there every night and hopefully get some laughs

There’s no other feeling like it

So while this tour may be a pretty long stretch out on the road

We’re doing what we love
