  1. Those of us living in other places really have problems remembering it can be like this, depending on where you are, and what you do. Iowa is a pretty much a forgotten part of the USA, but, here, there was a partial mask mandate from September to January. You were supposed to do it you had a social interaction within 6 feet that lasted more than 15 minutes (attending religious services or shopping at a retail store was specifically defined, by state law, as NOT being a social interaction, and were, thus exempt), or if more than 8 people gather within 6 feet of each other. Also, when the governor announced it, she flat out said “and, it is, of course, completely unenforceable”. Anyway, life and business are going on quite well, out here.
