Happy Mother’s Day

I’m getting the best present this Mother’s Day

Waking up in my own bed

I’ve got a feeling that I might even be scoring breakfast in bed

Because Miss 5 told me yesterday I’m intuitive like that

If I let my girls on the internet my kids could type I’m sure they would go on and on about what an awesome mum I am

But as that’s probably a few years away, I’ll use this opportunity to talk about what an awesome mum I’ve got

It started many, many years ago

Our relationship is full of love, laughter and a big dose of friendship

I keep hoping that as I get older, I might start to morph into my mum displaying some more of mum’s characteristics

And not just her hyena laugh blue eyes

I would love to have the relationship with my girls that I have with my mum

I’m working on it

My daughters are so in love with their Nanna

The would have no problems choosing her over me Hannah Montanna!

So happy Mother’s Day to all the Mums (& Moms!)

May you get just what you need today

Maybe a massage, some flowers, a homemade card a one way ticket to Hawaii or even just a sleep in

And to my mum

Thanks for being you

And for always bringing out the dickhead best in me
