To be going on the shortest trip I’ve been on all year

With as much luggage as I had when the whole family went to Oz in July

But it’s Christmas!

I wanted to bring MORE

The photos were also to show the Qantas folks WHAT my luggage LOOKS like

Just in case they ‘happen’ to lose my shit

It didn’t take long to forget about the bags

And look at that puppy with the sad face

He doesn’t like it when the suitcases come out

He misses me when I go away

I love touring Queensland

Always have

If you’ve read Dad’s book

You’d know that many years ago, when we (as a family) left Kalgoorlie

We were headed to Queensland

Specifically Cairns

Mum & Dad loved the place, and thought it’d be a great place to raise me & my brother

We got as far as Perth – to say goodbye to Mum’s family

Dad picked up some work

Actually, Dad picked up A LOT of work

And we never left

But every time I come to Queensland, I wonder if my life would have been much different if I’d grown up here

I don’t think so. The people here are equally as fun and fab as my WA peeps

And they’re on the same page too

The sold out crowds we’ve played to on this tour would attest to that

Easily our most successful Queensland tour ever

And the drives from gig to gig weren’t too shabby either

Queensland has some of the most spectacular scenery in all of Australia

Not that you can tell by my crap photos

And I’m always a happy girl when I can add to my  wanker wall

I love that I sign them….we pose for a pic…they smile big

With no idea what I’ve written on they bellies

So, the dates are up for Dad’s final UK tour next year

And to celebrate, the Poms went and crashed his website

Fuck, I laughed

The dates are on my website too

So be nice and behave – I don’t need my shit crashing too, OK?

It’s a little sad to think that it’ll be Dad’s last tour of the UK

He may still go and do the odd show over there (he may not too)

But he won’t be touring there anymore

There’s 38 shows on the COP-U-LATER tour

And the Ireland shows aren’t even on yet

It’s going to be a bigg’n

I’m stoked to be going for this one

Dad’s last tour, after 25+ years of playing in the UK

I wouldn’t miss it

If they decide to not let me in again

Despite my new shoes best attempt to kill me last night

(Who knew the heels had to be ‘screwed’ in before you wear them?)

The first show in Springwood was a  sellout

And a better than shit-hot way to start our 3 week tour of Queensland
