Woke up Monday in the wet spot
Waterbed sprung a leak
I don’t have a friggin’ waterbed
Great start to the week
The bloke laying next to me says,

There’s some guy in me bed
I’m never drinking again

Caught shagging at the office party
It was Christmas, I was pissed
Grab a 2 second shower
Grab me clothes from the pile
Grab me contact lenses
Put ‘em both in one eye

Everyone else stay at home
On Public Holiday

Jump straight in a cab
Head straight for the pub
I’m having such a shitty day

Now, it’s not such a shitty day
Not everything sucks, something’s going my way

Could be in luck, get a root
Down our drinks and we’re on our way
Perfect ending to a shitty day…It wasn’t such a shitty day
Good on ya. You’re a better song-crafter than yer ol’ dad.
Only my opinion, and like ass-holes, everyone has one, and everyone’s a music critic too, don’t ya know.
Seems to me that many more of your songs are original compositions, rather than mere parodies. Not that parodies are anything less than great too, but it’s just that I can really appreciate the talent, effort, and skill that goes into making up songs from scratch. I’ve done some of that, with the act “The
Luni Troupe”. you can look all that up on the web, if ya ever want to or have the time.
Again thanks for entertaining me, and getting me to smile and even a laugh now and then.
